Implants

Implants are the modern way of replacing teeth that have been lost through smoking, bad diet, lifestyle, gum disease or simply getting older. It is like growing new teeth because they match the appearance, function and strength of natural teeth.

An implant is a titanium screw that is surgically placed into the jawbone as a fixture for a conventional and natural looking crown. They are strong, stable and durable and with the proper maintenance can last a lifetime.

Periodontology

Periodontal disease, commonly known as 'gum disease', occurs when bacteria infects the parts of the gums around the teeth, forming pockets and destroying tissue and bone and eventually leading to tooth loss if left untreated.

It has also been linked to other health-related problems such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

However, periodontal disease is preventable and we offer advanced disease-control treatments and cosmetic gum procedures with deep cleaning (scaling and root planning) and if necessary gum surgery.

Orthodontistry

Orthodontics is the correction of mouth and facial irregularities to bring teeth, lips and jaws into proper alignment and therefore rectify such problems as crowded, uneven and spaced teeth and teeth with an overbite.
